Sink cabinet installed but drawer cutout not in line with pipes...advice.

Installed a sink cabinet but the top drawer is colliding with the waste pipe from the sink. Has been an absolute nightmare, and every combination of pipes used had some form of leak. This configuration is finally working and I don't want to have to change the pipes again if possible. Does...

    Help regarding bathroom screen/leak problems

The leak wasn't coming from between the mount and the screen, it was coming from where the hinge of the screen is, which is part of the screen itself, not the mounting mechanism. I have annotated a different picture below. I appreciate my siliconing efforts were poor!

    Help regarding bathroom screen/leak problems

See attached pictures. I have a P shaped bath in one of my bathrooms (bought as a new build). The curved screen for the bath is hinged, so rotates, and between the bottom of the screen, and the top of the bath is a water guard/deflector. Because of this, where the water guard meets the hinge...

    Fire alarm sound/power question

Hi all, I have fire alarms in my house that are mains connected with a backup 9v battery each. The one in my kitchen is making a beeping sound reasonably frequently. It's a very single, short, sharp, high pitched sound that beeps once every few minutes. Been going on for days. Pressing the...

    Help with power shower

Apologies - this is the shower: http://www.betterbathrooms.com/showers/shower-towers/latvin-luxury-thermostatic-shower-panel I note that says "shower panel" - does that mean it's just a front or is it the actual shower? Essentially, next to my boiler is a separate water tank (A megaflo...

Seems like the plunger above has perhaps worked. Seems to be flushing ok today, but will keep an eye on it to see if things change again. Thanks all for the tips so far!

    Toilet flushing issues - advice

Haha, well it is a new build - was finished about a year ago. I bought the property about 10 months ago, but have only moved in properly and started using things regularly over the last 3-4 months. Let me tell you I noticed a LOT of issues with the quality of the work. Leaks in ALL four...

    Toilet flushing issues - advice

Yeah I may well have to. I have ordered the plunger suggested above and will give it a go. I have a plumber coming soon for something else (being paid by the builders who built this new build house) so will ask him to have a look and fork out the money for that particular thing myself.

    Toilet flushing issues - advice

The base of that particular plunger is too big to fit into the bottom part of the bowl to go into the water. But too small to create a seal over the top of the bowl to create any suction. So it's completely ineffective

    Toilet flushing issues - advice

First floor toilet This is basically like the plunger I have http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/131454107224 Except not wide enough at the bottom to cover the toilet orifice to form a tight seal and obtain suction Can anyone recommend a different type to get?
