Waste pipe too far from wall

Thanks for the reply. Do you think I would then risk disturbing the seals? Do theses normally turn by hand?

Waste pipe too far from wall

Hello, I'm currently in the process of having a new kitchen fitted and having my washing machine relocated. Unfortunately the waste pipe which I think is 50mm is slightly too far from the wall. I ideally need it to be attached to the wall but it is currently at least 3cm away from it...

    Condensation issue in roof

Just to update I've bought new bottom loft insulation from Wickes as the previous stuff looks nasty, I've kept the top layer as that looked ok. I've cut out the plastic off the plasterboard and on doing so I could smell the emulsion paint I've been using, which is where he plastic condersates...

    Condensation issue in roof

No it was just timber surrounding going straight to soffits, is this actually okay or should I blank it, remove it and get a ceiling one fitted to a outside wall?

    Condensation issue in roof

Interesting I've just had to replace both extractor fans as both were not working. Downstairs goes to outside wall, upstairs appears to go directly into the eve/soffit as there is not outside wall vent. This one was previously taped up by the previous owner, prehaps even for this reason...

    Condensation issue in roof

The first thing I did when I moved in was to pull it back as this was that my survayor said to do. Will this dry out if I put it back? I've not had the heating on upstairs as I am living downstairs until I've sorted the issue and it's too cold to open a window upstairs for an extend period of time.

    Condensation issue in roof

Hello please look at my attached pictures. My ceilings keep getting damp. My insulation has already been pulled back to make sure this isn't blocking the eves. The plastic on top of the plasterboards is collecting water underneath. Is it safe to cut this plastic and remove it or will I...

Replace 4Ft T8Florescent Tube with Led Tube

Ok will post a picture of the existing fixture when I get home thanks. Attached is the enclosed instructions on a sticker and I have also located a pdf from the manufactures website. As my light fitting has a starter I assume its safe to say it is a Magnetic Ballast?

Replace 4Ft T8Florescent Tube with Led Tube

Would I be correct in thinking it's as simple as cutting ballast out, wiring live and neutral to the tombstone (one end only) and earth to the chassis? Thanks

Hello, I have a 4Ft T8 light in my kitchen and I am looking to convert this to LED to save on electric. I have purchased a LUCECO LED LINDAR TUBE - "Ideal engery saving retrofit for linear flurescent T8 tubes". It was supplied with a LED starter. I am not up to speed with what LED tubes...
