oh i see, the water runs through the pump and lifts the flow switch which then starts the pump....?? these get stuck? any way to free them please?

if it works after this - this proves the flow switch / pump working are faulty then? new pump?? the wire you mean, is it the one that is slightly showing?

cylinder thermostat is set to just above 60 degrees C. when shower on fully hot it is the same, no flow at all. could it be the pump motor or something that is broken?

i tdoes feel hot, but not really hot, it feels hotter before the pump (if that makes any sense)?

checked filters and seem fine - not blocked or anything, i got a bit wet :) but all was ok. is there anything else that could be the problem here please? :?

to isolate the outlet pipes to the pump i just turn the shower mixer to fully off don't i?

sorry i found lever valves on the pipe to the pump and turned them both off. how do get to the filters please?

How do i check the filters? where do i turn the water off from for this - will the valve ti the pump inlets do? :oops:

My other problem-they always seem to happen at once! - the shower pump seems to only work on cold - no hot water - why is this? it is a salamander ct50 twin impeller - what are the reasons for this? what can i do to check the problem please? thanks for helping me with both of my problems.

I have 2 problems but the 1st is this: I have drained a few litres or so of water from my heating system after putting cleaner in it via the feed tank which is high in a cupboard upsatirs in our bedroom. (says to leave it in for 4 weeks) but now there seems to be an airlock - i presume this as...
