cylinder thermostat is set to just above 60 degrees C. when shower on fully hot it is the same, no flow at all. could it be the pump motor or something that is broken?

could be the hot side of the pump is not running.

on the outlet of the hot side of the pump you'll see a wire that is a flow switch.
if you run a magnet up it it should activate the flow switch.

if it works after this - this proves the flow switch / pump working are faulty then? new pump?? the wire you mean, is it the one that is slightly showing?

yes just before the flexi that is the flow switch.
when the flow of the water run it lifts it inside and activates the switch.
they can sometimes get stuck.

oh i see, the water runs through the pump and lifts the flow switch which then starts the pump....?? these get stuck? any way to free them please?

you can remove the outlets and free them with a screwdriver down the hole.
you can also remove the pump end plate make sure its not seized propeller
