Problems with metal redi driver in plasterboard wall

The problem is there were various items around the house secured with these fixings (previous owner). They were the plastic ones but I couldn't work out when I was taking them out why they had their tips cut off. I realise why now because they were hitting the wall. Burnerman I did drill into...

Problems with metal redi driver in plasterboard wall

Hi Burnerman was thinking of those but i'm not sure they'll fit through as the wall behind is hot completely hollow. There is a gap of approx 35mm then it hits a solid wall!!

Hi again, can someone tell me what fixings i should use on my wall. There is plasterboard to begin with then a small gap and then what appears to be solid wall. Problems with metal redi driver in plasterboard wall

Hi, I've just put up a small cabinet using metal redi drivers. 3 out of 4 went in fine but one of them went in too far and is just spinning. Is there anyway i can rectify this as the hole in the wall is now too big and the driver just keeps turning in the wall? Thanks everyone.

    Concealed Toilet Cistern upgrade issue.

Hi PBoD, There is no ball float (I assume you mean that?) with this kit. It was actually one that you sent me a link to at screw fix in an earlier post. I've added a pic to show you what I mean. As you can see the inlet valve (far right) is at the top of the cistern and I cannot raise it...

Hi everyone, I'm after a bit of help please. I am redecorating a small en suite shower room. There is a back to wall toilet and a concealed cistern. The internals of the cistern were badly damaged by limescale so I decided to replace the internals. I purchased a Fluidmaster fill and flush...

Hi PBoD and JAK thanks again for your replies. PBoD interestingly enough I was looking at that same Fluid Master kit from screw fix. In view of JAK's comment is there anything I need to watch out for or will the fluid master kit be ok to put straight in my cistern? Thanks again guys. As long as...

Fixing concealed cistern to bathroom vanity unit securely

Thanks for all your replies guys. After sleeping on it I've thought of another solution. The only reason i'm changing cistern is due to the internal parts being covered in scale (although it worked fine when I removed it). Is it possible I can use the same cistern and just replace the internal...
