The builders put a concrete lintel in the brick skin of the wall to make a new doorway but they left the inner skin leading into the house breeze block as I wasn't ready for it to be knocked through at that time.     So i need metre moved then there is no way of adjusting pipe work. if so is it only national grid that can alter the pipe work.

    Thanks for the replies i will upload some pics later tonight. The service pipe runs up the outside of the garage approx 2 feet then goes through the wall to the metre. The garage was a single skin attached to the house i have had it converted to a two storey. So I've had to have the block work...
