Hello,
The speedometer of my Renault megane '98 isn't working. I'm reasonably sure the connection of the cable into the gearbox is at fault.
If so does this have to be replaced in a garage or is it possible to DIY it.
Thanks
Kieran
Hello Everybody,
Have a new style Nissan Navara with a broken offside Mirror. Its one of thoes electric ones. I got myself a new mirror and went to replace it while ago. It is very easy to do except for disconnecting and reattaching the electric cable. From what I could see, and it was...
Oh yeah Agile, it was the pressure switch was at fault, wasn't sure the correct way to drain down the boiler so I got Barry - plumber- around. He drained it down, took off the pressure switch, cleaned it out etc. but when he put it all back together it still didn't work. I by-passed the switch...
I take it that the intended new retaining wall is a fully storey height ..say 2.7m heigh. The weight on the wall next door is directly proportional to the height poured. The safest way to treat that situation would have been to pour the wall in stages at about a meter in height each time leaving...
Well I've increased the pressure to 2 bar and I think I'll let the boiler sleep on it Agile. Really appreciate the Advice from all of you.

Appreciate the advice guys
Assume that the overheat switch is the red button on the underneath side of the boiler on the right hand side. Should it be pushed in or pulled out to reset?

Cheers Solo,
Tried that but no go, anyway the hot water doesn't trigger the boiler either.
Corgiman, if the plumber would have come out this afternoon I wouldn't be trying to solve this problem this evening. I'm merely trying to see if the problem is easy to fix so i don't have to freeze my...
Cheers for reply MR. Smyth,
Don't think its the spark gap though 'cause it is not making any attempt to spark and I had the spark generator changed 7 months ago so. Have opened the Boiler up and it seems dry through out.
Am living near Wimbledon SW London but if your mates got a number i...
