thanks for comments. source of water we think was a leaking pipe inside the electric shower unit on the other side of the wall. I've got a very good plumber who is excellent at sussing out leaks. So, as you can imagine every time someone had a shower water escaped into the wall. My plumber...

we have a leak stain appearing on an internal wall. We can't be 100% certain but we think we have repaired the source. We have been using fan heaters to try and dry it out without much success. Is there a quicker way to do this? Not a huge problem in the grand scheme of things but it's a rental...

just an update to say the warranty has been found and the shower company are going to come and repair it. thanks to all for support.

this is a rental property and I try and get repairs done quickly so as not to mess my good tenants about. From surveys done, not getting repairs done quickly enough is the number one thing that tenants complain about.

not sure if there is a filter. don't think there are any isolating valves. I'm not a techy person; better leave it to the experts. not sure if I'm allowed to touch the electrics in a rental property anyway; I know I can't touch the gas.

decided to see if I can wangle anything from the 2 year warranty. Who would be responsible for the fitting charge?

fair point but replacing the solenoid might invalidate the warranty

I think it's going to have to be a new shower; not worth repairing, even though just over a year old.

I'm not getting water coming out of my shower. The lights are on and there is water to the bathroom taps. Any suggestions?

do you know how to open this socket? is it an interference fit?

yes, agree. Going to have a good look tomorrow as I wonder if its in the cellar. but I can call the electrician if no luck
