Hi, a section of our driveway has had to be redone so it’s looking different to the rest of the driveway which has faded over the years. Would tarmac restorer work to bring the old tarmac to look like the new ?
It could go under the suspended floor as BT did that last time. My master socket is in the middle of my house under the stairs, just want to know if this would need to be moved?
No sorry, that’s what I’m trying to find out.
What cables would need to change? And could the master socket remain where it is as the cable to it runs under the suspended floor
Hi
I can upgrade to full fibre from BT but have a few questions that I hope some members in this community can help with on pre-installation questions please.
I would like to keep the location of the master socket where it is, which is under the stairs in the middle of the house because this...
Hi
I’m looking for advice and guidance please on my Whirlpool condensing tumble dryer. I’ve pulled it out today as it’s been moved in my garage and found that the felt on the back has came apart?
Does this need repaired, is this normal and is there a risk of operating the tumble with the back...
Hi
I’m looking to wall mount a 55inch TV above a fireplace (not used) to save space by not having it on a stand and would appreciate any advice and guidance along with any recommendations please.
I did look at getting a media wall built but really like the marble fireplace and it would be a...
Thanks, yes I think so, the baxi boiler is not used - how can you tell? I have been using a Worcester Bosch system boiler and unvented hot water cylinder (both of which are in a different part of the house) for the past 5 years so I’m guessing the baxi boiler is disconnected?
Yes if I put my...
Hi
Behind our electric fire in the fireplace there is a void which is bringing in draughts and noise from the road outside. There was an old back boiler but this is not used and was replaced with a new gas system boiler when we moved in.
How can we insulate this or block this up to reduce...
Thanks all for your replies, really appreciate it.
I think they measured it at the outside tap near to where the cylinder was going to be located.
The 25mm blue main comes in and at the stop cock goes straight into 15mm copper, it then goes quite a convoluted way before the pipework ends up by...
we have had a Gledhill 300litre unvented Cylinder installed by a G3 installer
The problem is when we are in the shower and if someone opens another tap or flushes the toilet the temperature changes in the shower which is dangerous for the kids and adults - is this because it’s not a...

Hi
We need to replace our Bristan Varispeed 50 shower pump which is on its way out. We just need a cost effective alternative that we could ideally replace ourselves. This will only be temporary until a new unvented cylinder is installed in the next few months.
What replacement shower pumps...
Ok great thanks.
Would be interested in hearing your thoughts regarding this - are Gledhill any good? Will it require all new pipework from the new unvented cylinder which will be moved downstairs next to the boiler to the hot/cold water pipework around the house?
I understand that all of the...
