The Burning Question - Are RCDs safe?

This was in a garage of a new built house, so is about 15 months old. The owner is going to contact the builders to try and have it replaced.

Saw the guy today about the Concept panel, the outcome was that he didn't want to replace it but have it disconnected instead. It was his choice so that's what I did. Thanks for your help anyway. Nigel

Receiving same emails over and over again

No its definitely not the connection. I followed the link on the previous post, which led me to believe there was a problem with ' Pop3uidl.dbx' So I Googled it did a search on my computer and located it. It was then suggested I changed the name. Which I did. But that didn't solve the problem...

Receiving same emails over and over again

Since yesterday I am constantly receiving the same emails all of the time. I can't seem to stop them. I've done an antivirus check with AVG and Spybot. Spelling

Drier - usually refers to when things are not as wet i.e. they are drier. Whereas Dryer - comes from the word dry, therefore a machine to dry your hands (IMO) should be a dryer! I.e. it is a 'doing' word, if that makes sense.

    Minor works testing

To Ericmark: Thanks for that bit of info I'll take it up with the powers that be and see what they have to say about it.

    Minor works testing

Could you enlarge on this for me, as we have an old Oxford welder where I occasionally work, which will need testing shortly.

    Minor works testing

I agree, but I was rather under the impression that they were referring to Zs and Ze values for the whole installation. By providing an MEIWC looks more professional, it is not something a DIYer is likely to do and it also covers your back should anyone come along and start complaining that...
