Hi, Yes I mean tanking the wall behind the meters. Complicated story - we're converting from commercial to residential. We had a project manager in who had most of it tanked for us but not this wall. He's no longer on the project but building regs state we need to tank all the walls.

Any suggestions on how to tank this?

Do we need to use a waterproof underlay when tiling a bathroom floor (ceramic tiles)? It's currently just chipboard. Or ok to use just a liquid membrane?

We're having to tank the building we are renovating. On one wall there is a gas and electricity meter. Do we need to detach them/have them detached or is it possible to tank around them? Is membrane better or tanking slurry?

We actually have the same in our house, but are on a budget for this renovation and we'll be renting out so need a durable option.

Hoping to sort out a dripping tap. Have bought the necessary valve. Not sure how to switch the water off! Which one is the stop tap? Do I have to turn both? I tried one then the other, but the water still seemed to be running.

Thanks for the advice. Is there a reason why the gas light isn't on or is it just a thermostat problem?

Could it be a problem with the boiler? The hot water is working but radiators not coming on.
