Hello,
So i'm looking to fit a contact switch on my bifolds - there is a 6 core cable there already.
But i'm unsure how to wire the SC750. Its the multi resistor version (i know i need to cut the red cable on the switch).
I'm not sure how to wire the unit though - its only got 3 terminals...
figured it out - i enabled the open/close reports on my system but didn't get any notification.
For some reason, when i setup the smartcom 4g on my system, the texecom cloud site didn't register the smartcom correctly (the invoice value was 0). It wouldn't let me change the subscription so i...
So,
just an update on this - i'm going to remove the impaq s and fit a CQR SC570 on the master bifold door.
Having a shock on the bifolds doesn't make sense as the frame is too solid - i'm probably better off getting some micro shocks for each of the individual doors.
With the CQR, i only need...
Howdy!
Really not sure what the difference between the two are…
Both offer shock and contact and the micro has a small footprint.
Am I missing anything else?
ended up buying a 8xp-w.
So, to install it, i wire it add it up to the network ports on my panel.
What do i need to do in wintex/smartcom to tell my prem 24 about the new module?
Thats only bit of info i'm missing....
Hello,
So i installed a smartcom on my parents prem elite 24 system.
It functions fine etc - but i keep getting notifications when my parents arm/disarm them alarm system.
I'm a 'user' on their alarm system. Its the same for my parents too - they get notifications if the other arms/disarms the...
My alarm guy is due to come today but I feel like he won’t be able to fit a SC on the front door. I put the old AEJ shock back and there is no space for the contact :(
Here is a pic of the bifolds.
Top right there is already an impaq S but that’s sitting on the frame. Even though I’ve increased the sensitivity, it’s not picking up the shock when I bang on the glass.
Same person!
I think the way I’m going is to add the wireless expander, which I’ll use to add some micro shocks on my bifolds and French doors. Which means I’ll free up two hardwired zones on my panel. 1 for the hardwired mag sensor.
