spring is stiff but the door is not the tightest fit, with it closed is moves in and out about 10mm (at the lock side not the hinge) but i cant see any adjustment here?

the door lock as in the electrical bit inside the machine or the door handle? where would i get a replacement part?

Ive got a hotpoint ultima wma 74 washing machine that has decided to stop mid cycle with the door lock lamp flashing.....turning off and back on again somtimes resets the fault but i have to start my washing again.. any ideas for a quick cheap fix

Ive got and old oil boiler, a Buderus Deltatherm 11T and the ignitor has packed up, can anyone tell me where to get spares for a boiler this old thanks

thanks all it was a blocked pump all working fine again now

Machine packed up at the weekend it got to it's spin cycle and then failed spin and drain, just carried on washing, then when it finished, the drum still had water in it and the door lock wouldnt come off..... I tried the spin and rinse cycle aagain but it just continued to fill and wash...

thanks Tony, Water seems to be circulating OK and i'm led to believe the pump is fairly new on further investigation th clanging noise only seems to be coming from the kitchen Rad and the bedroom above, or the pipes between the two?

Finally sorted it £600 later and a new BSI (body systems interface) or the 'Brain' was it worth it?

no... never resolved it it happens only occasionally, say once a week, but can't afford a fix at the mo (just forked out £600 to get an electrical fault on my peugeot fixed...see my other posts) so i,m living with it... also..we never sent the guarantee card off that the installer filled...

I,m thinking you're right is it possible to reset the immobiliser and is the immobiliser built into the ecu or somewhere seperate? thanks

thanks for the info plugs are recent earth starp and battery connections are good The only way to start the car is to disconnect and re-connect the battery...it's like it's resetting somthing as soon as its reconnected it fires up fires turn of the key :?:

been having starting problems with my peugeot 206 1.4 (1999) it turns over fine but wont fire AA pluged it into the computer and said there are no ecu error codes so it must be a faulty battery so i changed it and it started fine next day same problem woulnt start, i turned it over...
