HIYA my radiators are filled with sludge....i think they are very old and prob rusty inside. because of the sludge the attic one doesn't get hot anymore ....at first got hot...then half hot...now nada! iwhen i cleaned it out it worked....for a day :( so a few questions 1) in an old system...

i've bled the radiator a million times and a bit of air comes and then no more air comes any more and i never get any water out.

hello again. i have had a plumber to look at my attic radiator that is cold at the top and hot at the bottom and he thinks it might need flushing (£45-is that reasonable?) antway he didn't think it was the pump but we couldn't find the pump....what does it look like? is it inside a tank or...

any ideas anyone?

it is factory fitted yep, i wondered about the battery so gave it a bit of a drive at least to charge it, but i guess if its gone, its gone!

it just keeps going off, have checked all doors and everything are shut and its in a garage so not the wind, any ideas how i can check it out? thabks marie-clare

Hiya, I have really no knowledgeof plumbing at all but dont know if i'll be able to solve my problems with your help. when i turn on the hot water taps the tank ? filler ? main one is really noisy and bangs and whirrs (as it fills??), and keeps me awake! i dont knw if this is related but...
