hello again.
i have had a plumber to look at my attic radiator that is cold at the top and hot at the bottom and he thinks it might need flushing (£45-is that reasonable?)
antway he didn't think it was the pump but we couldn't find the pump....what does it look like? is it inside a tank or separate?
i have looked by the tanks and in the kitchen and by the boiler-but i dont really know what i'm looking for anyway-sorry but ive got to start somewhere!!

i've bled the radiator a million times and a bit of air comes and then no more air comes any more and i never get any water out.

Make sure there is water in the header tank.

If the ballvalve arm isn't stuck in the 'up' position you may have a blocked feed pipe.

Remember to bleed rads only when the heating is turned off
