im assuming its a focus.anyway if the light is on constantly it could be a fuse these are behind the glove box but it sounds more like the control module.this is under the center consol and would prob be best fitted by ford garage as they have to be programmed on computor

if you take the screws off the side and bottom of the trim, carefully prize off the small trim on the interior grab handle and undo that screw.you can get your hand up the back and reclip the switch back into place.this saves taking off the door trim.
