    fantastic, what a great invention...........i assumed there may have been something like the waterproof connectors you get for garden equipment only I couldnt find anything from searching the web. Or can i just use the garden connectors? i dont really want a socket in the roof of my ceiling.

    i have a pool table light for my garage, but i want to be able to take it down in winter so i can still get my car in. I'm planning to wire it up to a switch on the wall, but is there a way to add a connector to the cable so it can be plugged/unplugged to allow me to take it down?

    i bent back the part that was flush with the plasterboard and it came away from the rest of it, so i was then able to just push it through the hole. job done, thanks for everyones advice.

    i think they are called "interset" fixings. plenty of advice in the wb about how to install them, hee-haw about hoe to get them out.

    i put up a shelf using heavy duty plasterboard fixings, the ones when you tighten, they create a cross behind the plasterboard. The wife has now decided she no longers wants this shelf up :evil: . How do i remove these fixings as they wont un-screw? do i just cut round them, push them through...
