Hi, As per pic. We were going to render but I think doing batons and board may look nice. Any ideas what size wood to screw to the wall and at what intervals? I'll use 6ft boards. Thanks

Thanks. How many per post and I'd need to use long ones I assume. I could countersink the bolt heads as the fence posts will eventually be covered. I just need to be sure that if a child pushes against the posts when they're set up as a handrail, they won't come away from the wall.

Ah ok thanks for the reply. I watched a YouTube vid and he called it half bond when he done 3/4 to 1/4 block for every other course. I'll stick with Lego bond seeing as my concrete blocks will be laid flat and it's not exactly holding back a mointain. Thanks!

Soon to be doing a retaining wall for the garden and will have a 10ft back with the sides coming down 5ft or so from the corners. Wondering if I have to use half bond or can I just build the corners like normal brick? Just like Lego. :) Then the only cuts would be at the ends. I've tried...
