    5x3m block garage/shed.

Best thing is I've just been given nearly 2000 thermalite blocks for free. Nephew is in construction and got so many left over. Only need about 450 myself so going put the rest on Freecycle

    5x3m block garage/shed.

Hi all, Going to be doing the footings for the 5x3m single block garage/shed soon. How deep will I need the footings to be? Going to be 7ft high at the front and 6ft high at the back. Single block. What's the best way to waterproof it, keep it damp free and also to soundproof it a bit? Matt

    5mx3.5m shed , few questions :)

Cheers for the reply. I was thinking that bolts would be better but can't see anywhere on the internet of people doing it? I think I will use bolts as can dismantle it if I want and also every year just go and check they are tightened anyway. Matt

Hi, I am planning on building a shed which will be 5mx3.5m and it will be a pent design so 7ft at the front and 6ft at the back. I am going to do a concrete base I think which will be approx 6" deep (unless you have any better ideas that will be significantly cheaper but 100% stable?) I plan...
