What would be your go to panel for fitting external IP rated devices? Also, I know pyronix do an IP rated prox reader, but do you know if there's an external keypad / prox reader that will work with either panel, more like an access control gate pad?

It's not required for insurance. It's just for our own monitoring. It's more peace of mind. It would take you an age to get in to one of these units. They were built to house munitions / high explosives, the alarm, like the CCTV we already have installed is a deterent / early warning system.
