Morning guys. I haven't been told anything def is asbestos these are just general question s. But if these were asbestos and broken but left alone....how much damage would they have caused?

The pipe was in my old flat...I only have the photo. Not sure if it was covered in asbestos or had bits in the hole. Same with fireplace. I'm kinda just learning about this stuff and freaking out :(

My concern that it was recently disturbed with renovation...worried broken bits were around. Added a pic of a fireplace in same house and my current bathroom. Any of this look concerning?

Ok please ignore my ignorance and I'm sure it's too difficult to tell. This is a flat I rented recently that was just done before I moved it. The pipes in the bathroom left exposed. Now I'm freaking there might have been asbestos. House was old old old....converted into flats. Edwardian I think...

Please can someone tell me how a self employed builder knows if there is asbestos in a residential building he is extending. Would it flag up in planning permission or building regs sought by the client?
