Only problem is he does not have the powerflush equipment... If a powerflush is £400 I may be better off risking it since a new boiler is only £700? I have a manga clean as well and if it's installed in the loft I guess it's harder for dirt to get up there...
Thanks for the support
Am I missing something here? I bought the boiler after reading opinions/recommendations on here and the guys are charging £300-£400/day which from the comments is far too little?
Should I expect to be paying £800-1000/day?
I wish I earn't...
I have a new Broag Avanta boiler and want it installing in the loft space with the flue going through the roof. (access to the roof is made easier by a flat kitchen roof below though would still need a roof ladder.
I have all the parts so cost is labour only. The loft has a fold out ladder...
I need a connection for the non-trv side of a radiator but the exit is straight down not out to the side.
Will this work http://www.screwfix.com/p/chrome-c-x-mi-male-coupler-15-x/67110
I'm not sure if it's the right size to screw into the radiator.
I will have to pick up the bits -...
It seems a bit of a mystery what consists of a good or bad job for flushing a CH system before installing a boiler.
I believe british Gas have a machine to flush the system but they charge 1-2K more than my local inataller to do the job so it's a premium I'm not going to pay.
Also I...
What is the difference between a good and bad boiler install?
i.e. what should I be asking my installer if he is doing/using?
Also what is people's experience of poor installs leading to faults - what goes wrong and why? is it always sediment in the pipes?
Just wondered if anyoen had recommendations for a good price other than general scouring of the inernet?
28c is what i'm after and probably the ECO model though would depend on the price diffference to the normal 'plus' model.
thanks
