Yep, but are there any blinds parts available that the makers/installers hate because the parts last too long?

How is it that no-one developed UV resistant vert blind plastics? I am not talking about the blinds themselves, rather the plastic fittings like the weights, cords, hangers. See me s that they are very susceptible to UV degradation over a few years.

I took the door off to change the direction the door opened, removing the rollers and fitting them opposite ends because adjustable rollers have to be at the top.... Only to realise that the door stops in the rail itself are hard screwed in and cannot be adjusted, so the door would not open...
