Kids put dart holes in my door. How to fill?

I put a kids dart board up years ago and when the darts misses, they put little holes in my door.

I have patched the paintwork temporarily with a grout reviver pen, cos its tip can get into the holes with white paint pretty much.

How can I fill these holes with minimal sanding etc etc.

I thought glue or epoxy resin, but that'll just drip out of the holes.

Wood filler?

What type of paint? Oil based paint then Linseed Oil Putty. Water based paint good quality water based filler but that will need to be sanded afterwards.
