I have a 2.5kw Creda 79351 that looks to have recently burnt out its neutral wire at the 13A wall switch, the fuse looked to be ok.
I'm presuming it's an overheating issue of some sort and that the thermostat is at fault but wanted to confirm.

Discovered another valve in most awkward place, hidden behind cladding next to boiler.! Its not a complete unit as in the motor is a different make to the valve.

Went to bed last night and left the HW switched to on. About 3am it tripped the RCD.
This morning - reset RCD put HW and CH on and RCD tripped almost instantly.
Reset RCD, HW only on, trips RCD after about a minute.
With HW only on, boiler did fire but seemed to clicked more times...
Definitely only found 1 valve (in the airing cupboard), unless there's another hidden elsewhere in the house (behind cladding etc).
