    Yeah I have no intention of moving the tie bar, it runs under my bath and the floorboard its above rotted due to a leak so it needs replacing

    Thank you. There's an end to it on the exterior of the wall, was always unsure what that was. Problem is I need to replace the floorboard under it now.

    Hi, Hope I've posted in the right section, After removing some skirting today I've found a pipe running the entire legth of the bathroom. Im confised as to what it is or for given it's size and the threaded block. Ive attached a pic, can anyone help? Thanks, Martin

    Damp under bath

    Thank you for the replies. So I've had the area cleared out and a fan running to trying all out. Good news is that it's now dry so there's now leaks other than the water getting past the old tiles. From the height of the bath now i have an area on the wall where the plaster has just crumbled...

    Hello, looking for any advice if possible. I went to sort a wobbly bath out today to find one of the feet isn't secured due to a soft/rotton floorboard. Now my plan is to remove the bath and replace the floorboards that need it, however the wall just above the area has literally crumbled down...
