Hi,

Hope I've posted in the right section,

After removing some skirting today I've found a pipe running the entire legth of the bathroom. Im confised as to what it is or for given it's size and the threaded block.

Ive attached a pic, can anyone help?

What can you see on the outside of the building, exactly in line with this at both ends?

Thank you. There's an end to it on the exterior of the wall, was always unsure what that was.

Problem is I need to replace the floorboard under it now.

Suggest you leave it well alone, it was installed for a reason?

As for the flooring "under it" can I suggest that you create a small timber boxed in area around the tie bar??

Yeah I have no intention of moving the tie bar, it runs under my bath and the floorboard its above rotted due to a leak so it needs replacing
