TF1 compact filter with new Combi Boiler - necessary?

If I could just ask... Managed to locate the filter under the shower tray (which is raised on a riser kit) without having to fit near the boiler. However the tray makes access very difficult but not impossible - I would have to attach a washing machine hose to the drain port and reach under...

TF1 compact filter with new Combi Boiler - necessary?

Right fair enough, I guess in my own trade I wouldn't like such an approach from a customer either!

TF1 compact filter with new Combi Boiler - necessary?

No worries, I know what you mean... I didn't really think about putting it below because i've already boxed it in, but I didn't think about using the return inlet's other port. To be honest i'd have to get someone in to make that connection (to the return valve) as I'm not familar with the...

    Greenstar 28i

Not sure why the power to the boiler would affect the filling loop or am I missing something? Do you mean the pressure rises even when the boiler is off?

TF1 compact filter with new Combi Boiler - necessary?

TF1 compact filter with new Combi Boiler - necessary?

Installing Nest 3rd Gen Thermostat -Worcester Bosch Greenstar 32 CDi

Hope this isn't seen as a hijack (i'm simply clarifying a point stated earlier). I've found this thread extremely useful, as I've been figuring out how to enable pre-heat control via 3rd gen Nest with five core cable (when the installer managed to use all 5 cores without connecting anything to...

Natural stone mosaic splashback - tubbed or not?

Fair enough! I was just querying as I would assume the suitability (or lack thereof) is due to the fact natural stone won't breathe and so would prevent the product from drying, but mosaic with its many gaps might not have the issue. But your absolutely right, for a tenner it ain't worth the risk.

Natural stone mosaic splashback - tubbed or not?

Would greatly appreciate some advice on a first ever tiling job (albeit a very small one). Bought two 30x30 natural stone mosaic tiles from B&Q to form a splashback over a 42cm wide cloakroom basin, along with a tub of Mapei wall adhesive and grout (yes I know the sticky advises against such...
