I'm no DIY expert but I would lightly sand around ther affected are and then feather in (lightly brush) some stain block paint that takes moisture and stops any further algae or staining from the damp and the when dry paint back over with the same paint as your ceiling to cover.

Have decided to just get my plasterer to bond and skim the wall level as the shower tray has already been set onto the floor with adhesive.

I am about to tile my shower room but the main back wall is uneven on the bottom left running down to the shower tray and runs in leaving an gap. (It is an 1870s cottage). How am I best levelling the wall here to seal with silicone then tile and silicone again?

I have a flexible pan connector coming through the plasterboard that will eventually be tiled and it is protruding out as such that the straight pan connector that came with the toilet as seen in the pic is impossible to fit between the toilet and flexible connect.

The leak is apparent even when the boiler is switched off, it is coming from the bottom right hand corner. It's difficult for me to describe as i am in Germany working and a tenant at the house has given me the information.

Would the combustion box door seal perishing cause water to leak?
my potterton promax tripped out over the weekend and then on pressing the reset button it fired up and worked again ok. But last night i noticed that water had now started to leak from the boiler.
