    Cheers mate - so I run a hose from the kitchen tap (mains pressure) to taps in bathrom and force mains water back up the hot and cold to clear the airlock - is that right ? thanks

    I drained the entire system. Rads from a drain valve at lowest point. Hot water from a drain valve near bottom of the HW tank. Have blead all Rads and CH works fine. HW is hot but low pressure. How do you bleed HW systems ? thanks

    My water presure seems low - the mains is fine. My Cold water to the bathroom is taken from the main header tank in the loft via 22mm pipe.     Cable size to Earth Rod in TT instalation with 30mA RCD ?

    I have a proper earth rod that is buried in the ground (as it must be)within 3 inches of the wall so the earth wire is protected as it goes straight into the wall then to the earth block. So if the wire is protected what size should it be ? Thanks

    Correct Length of immersion heater on Hotwater Cyclinder

    I am about to buy a new standard hot water cyclinder (indirect open vent) which is 1050 mm high. The immersion heater will only be for occasinal use. I see there are lots of different lenghts at the same 3 kw power. Would a 27 inch (685 mm) heater be OK?

    Drylining direct to plaster wall

    HI I have a old plaster wall that is dry and pretty even but a bit crumbly and would like to dryline with plasterboard without using timber supports. Would this work OK and does anyone know of any fixings for such an idea? thanks
