worktops are not a solid colour though, they dont do a speckled or marble effect filler and it will be visible.

the benefit of a repair is it dont break tiles etc making more work and inconvenience, repairs take about an hour and 24 hrs later it can be used, no mess no fuss, plus my big fat boss get's lots of money for pies.

chances are the insurer will send me round to repair it :(

i've worked in the repair trade for a decade repairing most surfaces. any questions welcome.

if it is less than 2mm deep polish it out start with 180 grade then 240, 320, 600, 1200 then Tcut with elbow grease. takes about 20 mins

fiberglass behind car body fill inside sand flat & polish airbrush with 2 pac car paint (white with a touch of yellow ochre and a touch of black) blend out the edges of the spray with thinners. allow 2 days to go off.

hi the way to do it is... firstly thin layers of superglue to build it up (this seals it as well to stop water getting in) flatten it level with a razor/stanley blade paint the detail on. hope this helps
