lol, tight beggers. i just recall years ago me old mum spun the hot tap and it popped off, after it's swathe of destruction (50p size hole in the bottom of the batth), it was was written off and the insurance paid for a new one (and fitting) guess times have changed.
 
the benefit of a repair is it dont break tiles etc making more work and inconvenience, repairs take about an hour and 24 hrs later it can be used, no mess no fuss, plus my big fat boss get's lots of money for pies.
