    Wall mounted bath tap

    Just to update, plumber friend has suggested a wall mountable elbow, placed in line with where spout is to go and at the correct depth. Will allow tile over then screw spout into that elbow. Gets rid of any back nuts and doesn't require that last fit from behind. Sounds ok to me. Thoughts...

    Our house is brick and block, built in 1981. On carrying out what was supposed to be simple upstairs bathroom renovations, I have uncovered some concerns in an internal breeze block wall. Essentially, it appears the wall is supported only by the timber sole plate sitting on 20mm chipboard...
