    drying out loft

    now learnt that eaves to eaves ventilation is not adequate.Best to have eaves to ridge. Have cut bitumen at top to give air somewhere to go- seems to be helping. Will get round to fitting roof vents to help cure it.Suggest others do same. :roll:

    drying out loft

    see my original posting re condensation in loft- what is the best way to dry this area out as everything is getting damp! dont think a dehumidifier will work as is too cold- any thoughts please? have I got to resort to having builders in to fit gable vents etc? or if i dry it out will it be ok

    noisy washing

    dont b----r about- buy a new one like I just did. Not worth the time and effort. If youre quick- get one in the sales.Suggest Hoover! But British. Good luck.

    loft condensation on 3 year old house

    I have recently noticed that I have considerable condensation on the inside of the roofing felt in the loft and it looks as if there has been a problem for some time as there is mould on some of the apex roof joists.Water is actually dripping down. There is roof vents in the eaves on both sides...
