    Agreed. However the timber had not arrived, and although cleaned - as described - the timber does have traces of the bitumen. Your opinions seem to indicate that F.Ball supply good products, so I will call them again. Many thanks. Nomisg

    Thank you Mack. I actually came across F21, and called F. Ball's to ask if it needed special board. The tech. gentleman suggested B91 because it is comb laid and easier to use - but I did not mention the existence of tar chemicals which would probably have changed his mind since B91 is solvent...

    Thank you for the rapid and very useful reply. I was hoping the power company would move it for a modest sum! Looks like I may yet have to pay a fortune for a hole in the road, and an excavation through the 2 foot thick house wall. Regards

    I have been quoted such a large sum by the power company to move the meter by bringing a new cable in 10 meters down the street (3k+) that I have decided to try another route.
