Not always practical positioning wise, but depends largely on you not clashing with a rafter etc. They can sometimes fail in heavy snow too, though that's less of an issue. We tend to use the positioning freedom of a pitched multi-slate and pipe duct with mush' cowl. Check the TVT is suitable...
