Roller garage door installation in sectional concrete garage?

I must be the only person to have thought about this judging by the lack of replies, either that or the only person dim enough to consider it :-)

Roller garage door installation in sectional concrete garage?

Hi guys, Looking for ideas on how to mount a roller door to my new sectional concrete garage that arrives soon. I'm concerned that as the panels are concave on the inside I'm not going to have enough (flat) surface to mount the rails and roller mounting brackets... Someone mentioned...

    Multicore fixed installation options

Thanks guys, that's a help, I suppose as primarily it'll be a fixed installation there won't be a lot of flexing going on. As it's a control circuit the currents involved are tiny so I think going the 3-phase route would be a little of overkill, I'm not familiar with the smallest CSA's...

    Multicore fixed installation options

Hi Guys, I need a 5 core control cable with a run of about 15m from an extractor to a control box in my loft, multicore flex (3185Y would be ideal) is easily available & cheap but is generally not used for fixed installations as far as I'm aware, so can anyone suggest a substitute? Multiple...

    Linking Low Voltage Txfmr O/P's

Thanks Lectrician, got the track and (pre-wired) end feeds on order at the moment so I'll just use what JCC provide (presumably 4.00mm as you say). as long as there's no problem contravening any regs by using the Junction Box method I think that's what I'll do. Thanks once again for...

    Linking Low Voltage Txfmr O/P's

Thanks Lectrician, I took a look on the Illuma site, the "self monitoring" style is what I need but they are listed as having four outputs. The torroidal are just too large as I need them to fit in a void through a hole in the ceiling. Better blow the dust off of the multimeter...

    Linking Low Voltage Txfmr O/P's

Thanks Breezer, I was referring to the outputs of a single unit. Do you think it's worthwhile linking the outputs with some tinned copper wire (to spread the current across all three connections) or would a single connection be able to handle the current? Thanks & Regards, Oggi.

    Linking Low Voltage Txfmr O/P's

Hi Guys, does anyone know if it's OK to link the outputs of a 12V lighting transformer?. There are 3 sets of connections, do they normally run these from a common busbar arrangement or would they be different windings on a transformer (I don't really want to take it apart to look). Reason I ask...
