I think it may just be visual. I felt if any areas were brittle but it seems very strong. Not sure what material used. Will get flues checked. Would I expect to feel any liquid in the bottom of the holes?? I can’t see how it all soaks I’m so quickly and goes back to dry brick dust???

    Damp proof advice

Is there possibly a run mark on the bottom picture? No smell in the house. Haven’t actually smelt close to the holes. Should there be a strong smell?

    Damp proof advice

Breakfast bar with integrated appliances, no carcasses or leg. Only end panel.

Thanks for your input guys. Will definitely speak to granite company. Haven’t seen the speedframe before. Looks good. How does it work with fitting end panels and back panel? Screw straight into it with self tappers? Have you any idea on price for a frame roughly 1600x600x900 high?

Yes, they’re specialists. Have worked with them before. They obviously will expect it to be fully supported. I’m trying to work out in my head how to get this supported before I ask them loads etc.

Getting a wall ready for plastering (pics)

Thanks for your help. If I have to board or dot and dab is there no need to smooth the walls off as best as possible? The rooms are quite small 15m sq. would an extra layer of wall make it feel smaller? If you click on my images you can see pictures in my album. Thanks again
