I have an immersion heater fed by a storage tank in the same cupboard. Cold water from this tank flows at an adequate pressure, however hot water from the immersion heater flows extremely slowly at times, especially when the water is very hot. Can anyone suggest a remedy? Thanks!

From a customer's point of view, a tradesman deciding just to not turn up to a job is pretty unacceptable. I assume you plan to call your customer well in advance to cancel the appointment. Otherwise, I'd certainly never call you again and I'd advise all my friends, family and work colleagues...

The clock is ticking away and I don't see any other control equipment - certainly nothing that resembles a radio teleswitch I've seen before. The whole system is around 25 years old and as far as I'm aware has never been updated since installation!
