    Altro Walkway 20 adhesive

Could anyone tell me please what adhesive I could use other than Altro's own to stick Altro Walkway 20 to plywood (in a campervan), preferably one that doesn't require trowelling as I'm not sure my skills are that good

    Cable calculating for Arctic cable

Hi guys. I'm running some arctic cable inside a campervan for a 10A load over 5m through conduit inside insulation where in summer the temperatures could obviously increase. The calculators for normal T&E suggest that 1.5mm2 would be fine but not sure if this would be different for arctic cable...

    Water from windowsill damaging wall

DSC_1075 by pcsparky posted 6 Oct 2017 at 4:02 PM Not sure if you can see in image well enough. The rear wall on the house we've bought is in very poor shape. I believe it has been caused by years of water dribbling from the bottom of the sill backwards on to the bricks. I've stimulated it with...

    Purchase FCU combined lightswitch

Thanks John, I'll contact them tomorrow to see if it's suitable

    Purchase FCU combined lightswitch

Yes John, I was just hoping to find an identical switch so that I could simply wire it the same way. It's the rocker switch that's faulty. When it's off the wall it works acceptably but when the rear is obviously pressed against all those wires inside it's not 'rocking' properly.

    Purchase FCU combined lightswitch

It does already have an isolator switch already above the door. It was installed when the property was built 7 years ago by Strata Homes' electrician

    Purchase FCU combined lightswitch

I need to replace the switch for our bathroom as the switch is faulty but I've never seen one like it before. It is a combined FCU for the fan & lightswitch. Any suggestions where I can buy one please?

    Advice: Roof foam insulation

Yes, I have read quite a few scare stories. It was the surveyor's report though that got me researching. It stated: .... certain repairs and/or improvements, which do not affect mortgageability, are required. The underside of the roof covering and roof frame is concealed by sprayed foam. This...

    Advice: Roof foam insulation

We are quite far down the line in buying a small terraced house as a buy-to-let, where the cost of a new roof (in Barnsley) is estimated to cost around £3000. It currently has a 13 year old roof that appears in very good condition externally. The house is being bought for £72k. However, the...
