Hi guys. I'm running some arctic cable inside a campervan for a 10A load over 5m through conduit inside insulation where in summer the temperatures could obviously increase.

The calculators for normal T&E suggest that 1.5mm2 would be fine but not sure if this would be different for arctic cable given the situation, or would 2.5mm be better. Any help appreciated.

If this is 12V I'd go to at least 2.5mm², maybe 4mm²
If this is for mains voltage I'd stick with the calcs as long as you have taken all of the parameters into account.

1.5 flex is rated much higher than 10 amp (around 16amp) , if you have 2.5 that could also be used.
