Hi, I have a leak coming from the pipe that takes the waste water from the toilet - S Bend I believe it's called? It may be the seal so want to replace it. Is it easy? Do I need a specific pipe? Will I need to turn the water off? or will a bowl underneath to catch water suffice...

Unfortunatley we have been burgled this weekend. I now want to beef up my security without spending the earth (Prepared to spend a little) Can anyone advise on what to purchase and recommend that is on the market at the moment? Thanks Gavin

My loft has insulation down so do I just board over the top on the joists? I was going to purchase the packd of loft boards you buy from B&Q etc unless I can get them cheaper elsewhere? Is there a way you lay these and fix them? Sorry I'm a novice. Thanks Gavin

Hi, Is it possible to by sensor security lights that do not need connecting to the mains electricity? I ask because I am not too confident about drilling through the exterior wall and connecting up. I will want to install it onto my open porch. Thanks Gavin

I have had spotlights installed in my bedroom ceiling but have noticed there is no safety in the loft with regards to the loft insulation and the heat the spots give off? The insulation has just been pulled away from the place they have been cut into. Should there be smething over the spot...

Yep they are all in the same place. I am going to wire the switched live to the live of the light and the neutrals to the neutral of the light, then 3 browns to a searate connector and leave it aside. So far wired in the 3 browns but it is too dark to finish so going to wait til tomorrow...
