Cheers, changed the plug and it worked fine, must have been a duff fuse.

The bulb in my table lamp blew so I replace it but no joy, tried another bulb, still no joy. Changed the fuse in the plug still no joy. Socket works fine so a bit lost. I can only assume the wiring in the lamp has somehow shorted but is this a normal occurrence? The lamp has never been moved.

Some places refer to this as denatured alcohol (ie non-drinkable stuff) which I thought was meths but I wouldn't want to burn something that had anynasty additives in it.

Does anyone know of any main stream stores which sell bottles of bio ethanol fuel to be used to a bio ethanol fireplace. I have ran out and the only places I know are via mail order. I live in Brighton but I will be travelling around to Kent tomorrow so would appreciate anywhere in the south east.

I think my problem is that the lead which sits under the bay has failed. It definitely has one fitted but it looks like it is leaking and probably needs to be replaced. The problem is that it looks like the whole bay has to be taken out to fit the new lead and this is going to be a very big...
