Remove Trevi A2219AA Ideal Standard CLASS fixed shower head

The whole body turns to direct the shower so impossible to unscrew. It looks like you need to unscrew from the back, but its behind a wall I dont want to damage. I was hoping it can be removed from the front with access under the bellows but its difficult to get at the inside to see what needs...

Trevi A2219AA Ideal Standard CLASS fixed shower head. Can anyone tell me how to remove this fixed shower head and replace it with a standard fit hose shower. I’ve not seen one of these before. It has a castellated ring as can be seen in the photo, does that need to be turned first. What tools...

Current in ceiling switch neutral wire ?

OK so the live wire screwdriver tester is useless. I only use it to identify which wire is live, which is all that can be done with it anyway and in this case as already stated, both N and L wires were causing the useless instrument to glow, which I thought was odd as I was only expecting the L...

Current in ceiling switch neutral wire ?

So am I correct in thinking the induced voltage could be due to a fault in the switch causing a magnetic anomaly. I have not retested the live and neutral since bypassing the switch and wiring them to the block connector, but I will test them when I install a new switch. Electricity is so much fun.

The 15 year old 50 Amp DP Pull Cord ceiling Switch for my bathroom shower stopped working this morning. On internal inspection a crack ran through it. I tested the live and neutral wires and found both the black neutral and red live wires lit up my live wire detector screwdriver. Should there be...

Do I need a 'Safety Radiator'.

Hi and thanks for the fast replies. The bathroom has two rads, both with thermostats so would it be OK to keep one of them permanently ON and close down the hall rad.

Do I need a 'Safety Radiator'.

Just had a new Baxi Duo-tec Combi 28 HE A boiler fitted by NPower. The hall radiator is the only one that has no thermostat and can't be turned off. We don't normally have this radiator on, but the gas safe installer said it needs to be on all the time the boiler is running to protect the boiler...

How to wire 2x 2 way switches 2 strip lights?

Can you confirm that this diagram is correct for my installation. I'm using 2x Flex Outlet Plates to connect the strip lights. http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5550/10308401576_b41d0cd9b0_b.jpg http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5550/10308401576_b41d0cd9b0_b.jpg
