Hi, in a detached house, the extension will create a small alleyway between our house and our neighbours. About 800mm roughly. Does the entire thing need to be brick? Or can it be blocks where it won't be visible, I can't think of a reason why not other than BC or planning to say computer says no.

Is it an easy job for a DIY'er to go from 10mm to 15mm? Ideally I'd like to strip back the microbore and get copper in throughout but we're not in a position to yet.

I have a little viewing hole on my boiler, I can see what I assume is the main burner coming on.

I've got a little view finder and i can see the blue flame coming on what I assume is the main burner. Any ideas?

There's a little drip drip in the cold water feed in the attic, could that be the problem?

Then not much, I can see the orange thing, and it sounds like it normally does. Normally it would gradually feel warm but nothing in this case.

It's circulating cold water because the boiler isn't warming the water. As I said the boiler is firing up but the boiler itself isn't warming up. Normally it feels warm.

Bringing the cold water into the boiler you mean?

The actual gas boiler downstairs is igniting but it isn't getting warm, I think the MVF's are fine I can feel the flow.
