Is it not possible to pack the left hand bracket to position the rail higher on that side?

Would it be easier to sand them then re-paint? Unless they are a detailed frame may be easier

Would have been nice to have pictures from further away but they do show the challenge you have. I think you have done a good job but more filler and paint I think is unfortunately going to be needed to achieve the finish you want

You could cut a section out along your garage and fill with gravel to allow water to soak away. cheap grinder with a masonry cutting discs should be all you need

Just the pop in cover appears to be missing , you have the removable section to aid cleaning. Just stops you losing things down the drain

My immediate thought is it needs to be a loop which you won’t achieve with a heated element. May be worth checking in with the manufacturer?

Yep, was thinking rubbing grout into the cracks will help conceal them. Probably white grout would be less obvious
