I live close to a 150 ft Sycamore tree. My problem is moss, removed 2 buckets fulls of the stuff from the North facing roof recently, cleaned it 2 years ago also. Also have moss on the lawn / drive / any surface. Any thoughts on its reduction :?: PS The tree stays as its next doors

Thankyou all for the advice, I've used PTFE tape for this job, as it was all I had, but will get some jointing compound for future jobs. :)

When making compression fittings on the central heating system, OK to use PTFE tape on the joints or should it be a jointing compound, Plumbers mate Ok :?:

Ah I see, if I set the controls so the system always finishes on water then I might extended the valve life a little and save a few p on electric..... :)

I note that my 3 way mid position valve is warm when the system is powered up but the timmer has both CH and W off if the valve is in the CH position but is cold if the system was last on W only with valve in W only position. Normal ?
