    How to paint this wardrobe

Hi All. Got this old wardrobe, would like to paint it as thesame colour as the wall, the wall paint can be used on wood also. My question is, can I just use a roller to apply the paint. The stain on the wardrobe doesn't appear to be oily as its an old wardrobe made of oak and extremely heavy...

What should I do about these gaps please ?

Thanks for the comments, as the planks are already laid, how can I do this without removing them all over ? I am looking for a solution that will not involve removing the laid planks, the skirting is on top already.

What should I do about these gaps please ?

I did this myself with the help of a mate, Its click flooring, what can I do now when the frames were not undercut ? Can I cut a bit of wood /scotia trimming and nail/glue to the frame, paint same colour as the skirting ? Does LVT require expansion ?

A lot of water coming from the overflow pipe and the boiler vibrating a lot

Please see the attached pictures, when I open the large braided coiled connector the boiler fills. I am not sure if the integral filling loop is open or closed as per the attached pictures.

A lot of water coming from the overflow pipe and the boiler vibrating a lot

Thanks everyone for the input. Just to be sure, please see the picture below. I have labelled the valves 1,2,3 and what suprised me today is that I went outside by the drain cock to open it in order to reduce the pressure, I then opened the silver braided valve above this text and the...

A lot of water coming from the overflow pipe and the boiler vibrating a lot

Thanks for this insight. I had to rush home last night as it would not stop. This is what it looks like, and I like to think that the 2 filling valves are in the closed position (the blue and black) I closed this loop and the whole thing stopped.

A lot of water coming from the overflow pipe and the boiler vibrating a lot

Hi All. I have an ideal logic 24 combi boiler, recently I have noticed that the overflow pipe starts to gush out a lot of water at regular intervals and the boiler is vibrating a lot when the water is being discharged. I noticed this 2 weeks ago, the pressure refill valve is in the closed...

Is it possible to restrict flow onto a shower and if...

Combi storage boiler - vaillant 938

Hello Everyone Just going through the design of a house with 3 showers, no bath. We are proposing to use a Vaillant 938 as there is no space for a cylinder unless we create an extension for the cylinder. The flow rate is 20L per minute from the kitchen tap, does anyone know if Vaillant 938 is...

Damp issue - see illustration. What is the way forward

Hi All. What happened with the mortgage company is that they saw the report from the damp company, and insisted that the works had to be done before they could release the loan. I have taken some more pictures. Here we can see the build up of algae ont he floor which suggests that the water...

Damp issue - see illustration. What is the way forward

They mentioned clearing the gutter, replacing timber lintels and like most damp companies they need to justify their high fees, and hence why they write scary reports with all sorts of things in it. The issue right now is that the mortgage company has seen the report and are terrified, is it...

Damp issue - see illustration. What is the way forward

I will need to go back and take more pictures, a few things to note. The gutter above the roof by the wall is filled up with sand, so bad that vegetation is growing inside it. This has led to the wall directly beneath having its internal render blown up due to penetrating damp, what I do not...
