    i see your point chris The valve is quite new though so im hoping all is ok. the problem is that the previous owners had sumhow managed to snap the plastic valve clean off! i am holding it!! we have been in the house for 7mths now and there have been no probs, we have just left it...

    Slight problem with my baxi combi 80e

    Thanks Tony, i think it might be to do with the filling loop as well. it sounds like the boiler is still filling up through this even though it is turned off. Should there be just a screw at each end of the filling loop to allow water to pass through?!? Thanks again PD
