Thanks for the replies, chaps. The reason for not using a 12 volt battery with the existing adapter is simply down to weight.I want to use it on my cycle with the battery in my backpack.Looks like I'm going to have to do some Spider Shepherd exercises then.:(
Not sure if this is the right place to post this but it does involve an audio visual item.
Please excuse my total ignorance of electrics/electronics.Does a 3.2Ah battery supply 3.2 amps for 1 hour or 1 amp for 3.2 hours?Or nothing like that!
Specifically,if I cut off the car adapter of this...
Is it close to a heater or in a warmer place?I had a similar problem with mine where the warm air heater blew hot air towards the fridge when the kitchen door was open (most of the time) until I re-directed the blades so it blew in the opposite direction.
Can anyone offer any suggestions why this would happen & if there's anything I can do to prevent it happening again?
I've ordered a replacement but don't want to fit it if that's going to go the same way.
It's the on/off switch from a Tricity Bendix dh101 dishwasher.
Many thanks in advance.
